I’ve been interested in electronics ever since I was a boy and when I left school I started an apprenticeship (remember those…) at Rugby Radio Station as a Trainee Technician (Apprentice).  At that time, even though Wikipedia doesn’t mention it, Rugby was one of the main telecoms links and carried voice, fax and telex to the rest of the world from the UK. This was in the days before satellites and the internet. How things have changed!

Over the years I’ve done various other work activities including aerospace design, food safety and quality assurance. Throughout this, I’ve maintained my interest in electronics but not been particularly active in doing much in the way of hands-on stuff.

Now I’ve retired, I can remedy that and aim to document it here.
